Start with the question
Identify what the investigators wanted to measure. A weight-change endpoint and a glucose-control endpoint answer different questions. Before comparing numbers, check the study population, comparator, and follow-up.
Read the whole record
Work through population, formulation, route, assigned dose, duration, findings, and adverse-event reporting together. A dose without this context is an incomplete description of a study, not a personal plan.
Separate assigned arms from starting doses
